Feeling suffocated is something I feel a lot during stressful school times. For example, right now. I am applying to colleges, looking for scholarships, and waiting to get a "Yes" for both. This has been my life so far since August, but apparently having a head start is less stressful.

In my essay I wrote about being a 1st generation college student. This was an important topic I wanted to write about because I think many people can relate to it in some way. In the essay I express my hopes to what I want to achieve in college and after college.
My goal for college is to study something that I am interested in and also am able to help through it. For me it's important to be happy with my study choice because it would be what my career is based on. A job I will hopefully enjoy everyday. Something else I really hope to achieve in college is being part of the campus. Creating relationships and being involved in different activities.

The last book I finished was "My Story" by Elizabeth Smart. This was an autobiography about her life experience at the young age of 14, when she was kidnapped for 9 months. The book follows the plot line on how she was kidnapped and her tough experience she had to suffer. She also goes in depth on her rescue and the after story from this dramatic experience. One thing I really liked about this text was that the author was really descriptive of all the emotions and thoughts she was going through. This was a really interesting aspect on how she handled a dramatic experience during and after.
